How The ASC Podcast handles the information you send us. Last updated August 15, 2026.
The short version
The ASC Podcast is a small site. We collect only what you type into the contact form, we use it only to reply to you, and we do not sell it, rent it, or trade it to anyone. There is no advertising network on this site.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you submit the contact form we receive the name, email address, and any other details you choose to include in your message.
Information collected automatically. Our host records standard server logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps — for security and reliability. These logs are not used to build a profile of you.
This site does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.
How we use it
- To answer your question or fulfil your request.
- To keep a record of our correspondence with you.
- To protect the site against abuse and spam.
We will not add you to a mailing list from the contact form alone. If a form offers to sign you up for updates, that is stated on the form itself and you choose it deliberately.
Who else sees it
Form submissions are processed by our website host, Netlify, and reach us by email. Those providers process the data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. We disclose information otherwise only where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep correspondence for as long as it is useful for the enquiry and our records, and delete it when it no longer is. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices
Write to us at the address on the contact page to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, or to unsubscribe from any updates you have opted into. Every update email also carries an unsubscribe link.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new "last updated" date.
