The short version

The ASC Podcast website does not have a contact form, an account system, or a newsletter sign-up, so it collects nothing from you directly. If you choose to email us at info@ascpodcast.com we will have whatever you put in that email, and we use it only to reply. We do not sell, rent, or trade it. There is no advertising network on this site.

What we collect

Information you give us. Only what you send by email. If you write to info@ascpodcast.com we receive your email address and whatever you choose to tell us.

Information collected automatically. Our host records standard server logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps — for security and reliability. These logs are not used to build a profile of you.

This site does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.

How we use it

• To answer your question or fulfil your request.
• To keep a record of our correspondence with you.
• To protect the site against abuse and spam.

We will not add you to a mailing list because you emailed us. Membership and patron sign-ups happen on ASC Central, which handles that data under its own privacy terms.

Who else sees it

This site is hosted by Netlify, which keeps standard server logs on our behalf. Episode audio is served by Podbean, and membership sign-ups take place on ASC Central; both handle any data you give them under their own privacy terms. We disclose information otherwise only where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep correspondence for as long as it is useful for the enquiry and our records, and delete it when it no longer is. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your choices

Email us at info@ascpodcast.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. For anything relating to an ASC Central membership, contact ASC Central directly, since that account data is held there.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new "last updated" date.
