Medical Directors in Freestanding Ambulatory Surgery Centers face unique challenges. All too often they are put into the position with little training or help to adjust to their role. This one-day conference recorded in October 2021 provided both a context to the position as well as an opportunity to discuss their roles and responsibilities and what is expected of them during a survey.
